Pole Fitness with Micha-It's break time

With no current group classes, and new private clients put on hold I'm getting serious about fixing myself.....

I truly hope that this isn't a long term thing. I'm having sports massages every 2 weeks, acupuncture regularly and am (still!) awaiting my physio appointment to get a referral for a scan and to see a specialist.

In the meantime, please don't forget me! :)

Let my issues shape your future pole progress. Push yourself, but don't push too hard. Practice moves, but not constantly if they're a strain on your body. Listen to your instructor, but know your own body.

There are amazing intructors out there, but you know your body better then anyone else, and unfortunately there are people out there that will not be looking out for your best interests, and will not make sure you don't result in future injury.

Luckily we know much more about pole injuries and moves now then we did when I first started learning.

Pole progress should be steady, making sure you have the basics down and your muscles are strong enough to carry you and cope with any pressure and strain.

Don't try to leap ahead steps.

Be good to your body.

Engage your muscles!

Thank me later

;)

xx
